Winter Speed and Agility FAQs:

What are the Winter Session 2 camp dates? Times? 5:45pm-7pm

January: 18, 23, 25, 30

February: 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 22, 27,

March: 1, 6, 8 (9th and 10th reserved as back up snow dates)6

What should I bring with me to camp?
A large water jug (64oz) with your child’s name on it and tennis shoes. A water fountain is available if your child needs to refill their jug. If your son or daughter have conditions that require equipment please make sure that is packed with you (for example an inhaler or an EpiPen).

What if we have to postpone due to weather?
Since the Chesapeake Bay Middle School Auxiliary gym is an indoor school facility that closes when A.A.C.P.S. are closed or after school activities are closed. If the county closes schools, or afterschool activities due to weather, there is a snow date built in on 1/11/23 if needed.

What is the refund policy?
If your son or daughter sustains an injury that prohibits them from participating, you will be refunded for the camp days that your child missed. Refunds will be made only with a doctor’s note. There are no refunds for the on-line registration processing fee.

What are your COVID 19 safety measures and procedures?

  1.  Water will not be shared.
  2. Mask policy will follow the current A.A.C.P.S. and C.D.C. guidelines at the time of camp.
  3. If your child has been directly exposed to COVID 19 or is experiencing symptoms, they must follow all CDC mandated quarantine requirements.  Chesapeake Bay Sports Camps does not refund for COVID 19, or any other illness or quarantine requirements.

 

Summer Speed and Agility FAQs:

What days and locations do we meet for summer of 2023?

    • Mondays- Chesapeake High School Stadium Turf Field
    • Wednesdays- Chesapeake High School Tennis Courts
    • Camp Dates
    • June 26-August 8th (Tuesday’s and Thursday’s are reserved at rain dates)

What about summer vacations and other sports camps? Vacations and other sports camps are EXPECTED and ENCOURAGED during the seven week summer camp. However, please keep in mind that the more sessions that your child misses, the less benefit they will get out of the camp. If they miss because their active at another conflicting sports camp, that is understandable because of their maintained fitness. There are no pro-rates for missed camp days.

What should I bring with me to camp?

If your son or daughter have conditions that require equipment, please make sure that is packed with you (for example: inhaler or an EpiPen).

What if we have to postpone Speed and Agility due to weather?

We will make up Monday sessions on the next available Tuesday. We will make up Wednesday sessions on the next available Thursday.

What are your COVID 19 safety measures?

  1.  Groups will be separated by age and gender when possible.  There will never be more than 12 athletes in one group.
  2. Sanitizing stations will be available where athletes will have the option to apply hand sanitizer between stations where they contact any piece of equipment with their hands.
  3.  Water will not be shared.
  4. We will always be outdoors.
  5. Mask policy will follow the current CDC guidelines at the time of camp.
  6. Social Distancing will be enforced
